As it seems that epicmount is ceasing to provide hosting services, it seems Bovine Fury forums are in need of a new home.

To that end we will be opening up donations for the site as well as an upgraded vent server in order to help facilitate raiding and guild communications.

Bovine Fury's 1st Foray into Mount Hyjal. This is gonna be FUN!!!

Saturday night was Bovine Fury's 1st look at the Mount Hyjal instance. After 2 very good attempts at the 1st boss' "gauntlet we called it due to the fact it was really late.  I think we would have downed the boss given a few more attempts.  I am looking forward to going back in there.  I think we are ready.  For the Herd!!

Bovine Fury takes Hellfire Pennisula Friday After Gruul's

After one shotting the Gronn and his minions, the bovines set their sights on Magtheridon.  But, with some key classes dropping out and a lack of said classes to fill the spots BF takes a frivolent attempt at the Doom Lord Kazzak.  As he proved too much for us to handle with 22 in raid, we then took the Towers in hellfire and then Stormed the Ally town of Honor Hold.  Blitzing our way past all the guards and laying waste to the towns NPC's we finally got some attention from the Alliance.  They stood no chance against the Might of the Herd and only when we began moving on to other pastures did any of our brethren fall to their feeble attempts.  Thanks to all who stuck around for the fun.  Check out the gallery for a couple of screenies. Ishy has a few more yet to upload.

Another Gruul One-shot for Bovine

What does it take to one-shot Gruul and slap Mags down to 45 percent? Just the Moo Crew and some PUG-natious goodness!

Despite the fact that many of our main moos were enjoying a well deserved night off to go see some dorky superhero movie (JK, "Iron Man" rocks!), a sturdy bunch of cows and their pals cleared the G-Thang's Lair with ease, decisively placing the big guy on permanent "farm" status.

And, what the hell? Might as well smack Maggy around, what with Gruul taking his medicine so quickly and without much of a fight. And even though many of our raid party were new to the encounter, it only took a few tries before we swatted Auntie "M" more than halfway back to Kansas, or Hell, or wherever he/she/it comes from.

Be sure to join us next Friday night when Magsy tastes the fullness of Bovine Fury's... um... FURY. 
Bovine PWNS Halazzi

And after much in the way of trials yesterday, Bovine Fury one-shots Halazzi today. Great Job guys and girls!




You see here, Flips, Livi, Odeous, Tolgees, Leytu, Luigisephy, Popeage, Rhavin, Risele, and Ishtarra and one dead trollkitty, Halazzi. (Thanks also to Mesohordey and Williamein who helped us one-shot the bear.)

Hey Bovines! It’s another great week in Outlands!

 

Here are the highlights from the guild meeting.

 

1] ALL raid signups are moving to the website!! Click on the EVENTS tab above to view and signup for raids.

 


2] USE this website to help improve your toon and your playing. Macros, strats, addons, real life photos of us bovines and more are posted all over these forums.

 


3] ADDONS have been updated here on the website. Click on FILES to download. If you plan on raiding with us remember to have ORA2, Deadly Boss Mods (DBM), Ventrilo and KTM Threat meter downloaded and working prior to raid.

 


4] VENT donation button added to the guild website! Please donate towards our 50 man server. smile


5] WELCOME Luigiesephy to the jr.officer rank! Congratulations on your promotion. We know your leadership, knowledge, guidance, and bizarre sense of humor will lead us all too great loots and side splits!

 


6] LOWBIES and ALTS get together on Guild Calendar in-game to schedule lower end instances and runs.

 

7] Here are our goals for the next few weeks:


Short Term:

A) Kill every stinking, smelly boss in ZA. Kill a bear, skin a cat, shoot a bird. (Flay a Dragonhawk? ~Ishy)

B) Double Headers!! Kill Gruul and Mag! Look for signups on the website.


Player Focus:

A) Get those badges! Run Kara with us, schedule heroics, whatever it takes. Gear available from the new badge vendor is T6 equiv. and will help us with our long term goals.


Long Term:

A) TK

B) SSC

 


8] PVP Raids being scheduled soon. Talk to Jr. Officer Rhavin for more info and watch the calendar on the guild website! Should be a bloody blast!

This Week in Bovine Raiding

The usual menu of Kara farming and Gruul. If you need something from Karazhan, sign up.

As for progression content, I don't believe it's been hashed out yet. However, here's some homework for you Bovines.

Magtheridon Fight

This is the strategy for the Mag fight. It's rather simple and the attendees from last week pretty much know it. The trick is getting people ready to handle the cubes.

Patch 2.4 Today!

Yes, ladies and gents, the time has come. Remember, however, that season 4 has NOT started yet, and as such there is no Merc Gladiator's gear on the vendors as of yet.

A few things to remember:

  • Honor system now gives honor instantly.
  • New dungeon: Magister's Terrace. You must beat it in normal before doing it in heroic!
  • New badge loot will NOT be immediately available, the server must reach the third stage of the Shattered Sun offensive before we can get at it.
  • New dailies, with daily quest limit up to 25 a day.
  • Rep vendors will have new blue-level PvP starter gear.
  • Kara no longer requires attunement, just one person with the key to open the gate.
  • 25-man bosses have more money, more tier tokens, and Badges of Justice.
Enjoy the patch today folks. It should go live at 2PM server!
